A great place tp stay
Just returned from a two night stay in Goosey Island. It’s great to see another French Style Aire in an Irish town like Sneem. It’s owned by Sean who also owns Dan Murphy’s pub across the road and he’s very helpful and welcoming. It’s lovely to be staying in the middle of such a nice village community. We’ll definitely be back for another relaxing break!

The best hidden gem in Kerry by far
Found by chance, the best hidden gem in Kerry by far. Small enough for tranquility, large enough to be spacious even if full. Electric or wild camping. The owner on site, nephews helping with servicing the grounds, naturally friendly and polite.

Amazing Camping Experience
I had read about Goosey Island camping site on various different internet sites so we decided to give it a try. And boy are we glad that we did. It's a truly an amazing place to stay. Its peaceful, beautiful and serene. Words just dont do it justice. At €15.00 including electric the price is excellent. The views are just something else. We stayed here for two nights but would've happily stayed for ten. We had a few drinks in Dan Murphy's bar. A great little spot to spend a few hours. Also a shout out to the fish and chip shop. By far the best fish we have EVER tasted. Will definitely be back. 2 happy campers
