The River Urrin rises in the Blackstairs Mountains and flows southeast to join the Slaney just south of Enniscorthy town. This is primarily a sea trout fishery (licence required for sea trout fishing) and the weight of the trout is 0.75lbs and the fishing can be very good. There is one angling club on the river and day tickets are available.
