Lakes

Lough Leane

About

The largest of three lakes that are located in the Killarney National Park, Lough Leane literally translates to the ‘lake of learning’. The 1,900 hectare lake is known for its salmon and brown trout fishing, with boat access being very good. It’s also highly recommended to take a boat tour of the lake that will also go to the other two Lakes of the Killarney.
