This Blue Flag beach has a good expanse of clean, white sand with some areas of grassy dunes. On either side of the beach there are rocky cliffs. The beach faces south-west, and it can be quite exposed to the elements - which is good news for surfers. The bay gets some good waves and is popular with surfers and other water sports enthusiasts.
